CD Presentation and Party!

The long-awaited CD presenting the Rubens Quartet and Joey Roukens is almost here! This disc serves as a document of Roukens' two-year-long composer-in-residence status with the Quartet, made possible by the NFPK, and features works by Josquin Desprez (transcribed by Roukens), Mozart and Roukens himself.
On February 19 at 20:15 the first copy of the CD will be presented to our record producer, Wilhelm Hellweg. There will also be short interviews sharing more insight about the recording process and collaboration, and of course there will be music! Our master-of-ceremonies will be musicologist Leo Samama, who is an expert on Dutch music.
